Development leader brings dedication and passion to news and public policy group
Northbrook, Illinois – The Haym Salomon Center, a news and public policy group, is excited to announce that media and marketing professional Talya Messeri has joined our growing organization, serving as Vice President of Development and Strategic Partnerships.
A longtime advocate for Israel and liberty principles, Talya’s background includes a degree in film production from the renowned University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. Her experience includes several Hollywood studios and production companies, including Randal Kleiser Productions, Universal Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures, and Maverick Films and Television.
Before joining HSC, Talya served as Director of Development for Taliesin Nexus, an organization committed to transforming culture by creating a network of mainstream film and television producers, screenwriters, directors who share a passion for a free society.
As a former marketing consultant, Talya has assisted a wide range of businesses such as production companies, resource centers and entrepreneurs in telling their brand stories through online and offline methods that connected their products, projects or services to their ideal customers, clients and audiences.
“I have been following the important and impactful work of the Haym Salomon Center from its inception. Their work – their mission – is my passion and I am thrilled to be part of an organization doing such essential and meaningful work,” explained Messeri. “It was important to me to join an organization whose purpose is to educate and create awareness that goes beyond the pro-Israel choir, reverberating outside of the echo chamber. The promise of America, the values of Western civilization, and Israel are all under attack by many in the media and broader culture. HSC is educating a greater and more diverse audience and I am honored to be part of it.”
“I am elated that Talya has joined the Haym Salomon Center,” said HSC President, Paul Miller. “She is a passionate advocate for freedom, with amazing personal skills. I could not have asked for a more dedicated, values-driven person to be part of my senior staff.”
A native of Canada, Talya’s education and career have taken her through Los Angeles and Chicago. Talya now lives in Washington, D.C., expanding HSC’s leadership presence across the country.
